Earagail Arts Festival
Joy is heading over to Ireland next week to peform again at the fabulous Earagail Arts Festival. This year, she part of two lovely events in Falcarragh and over on Arranmore Island - there's further information about them below - do let us know if you'll also be there!
A Night of Traditional Irish and Scots Gaelic Song & Poetry

Experience the ornate and rich tradition of Donegal and Scottish sean-nós singing and poetry in the beautiful laid back atmosphere of an tSean Bheairic’s Caifé. Singers, poets and raconteurs from Scotland and Ireland that like to push the boundaries of traditional arts will come together for this specially commissioned Earagail Arts Festival collaboration. A unique chance to see the most innovative and daring exponents of traditional Gaelic arts, with Irish and Scottish Gaelic living and breathing in song and verse.
Featuring / le Joy Dunlop, Pádraig Mac Aoidh, Séamas Barra Ó Súilleabháin, Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde and special guests.

Age Group:Under 12s admitted free with parents or guardians, 12-18s must be accompanied by an adult over 25 years.

The second day of our partnership with the Swell Festival brings you Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Árchú (Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde, Niall Hackett, Guillaume Beauron and Seán Cathal Ó Coileáin with Éimhear Nic Comhaill), Joy Dunlop, Pádraig Mac Aoidh, and Séamas Barra Ó Súilleabháin for your listening pleasure!
This programme for The Mountain Stage celebrates Gaelic culture, and transatlantic folk roots. Commencing with an afternoon of Irish and Scots Gaelic song and spoken word, a performance by the new Gaelic innovators Árchú, plus a few local surprise guests throughout the day, The Mountain Stage will draw to a close with the rip-roaring American roots of Reverend Peytons Big Damn Band.
